Species Classes Edit

In order to determine how evolved a sapient species is, classifications were made to determine technological advancement. They are as listed:

Class 1: Medieval, Romanesque species

Class 2: Industrial age - early space age

Class 3: First colony outside homeworld

Class 4: Multiple colonies, and ability to travel in FTL speeds

Class 5: Able to transform nothing into almost anything, Godlike beings.

These are more in depth descriptions of each classification

Class 1: Edit

Class 1 species are the most common class of species throughout the galaxy. For every 3 life-bearing planets, you would likely find one of these species. It is uncommon to advance any further than this, but it is not unheard of. It is strictly against galactic law to interfere with any Class 1 species.

Class 2: Edit

Class 2 species are designated from the moment the first automated machinery is invented until they reach their first colony. It is against galactic law to interfere unless an SOS radio wave is received. This is how Humanity reached their status as a class 3 species.

Class 3: Edit

Class 3 species are very uncommon, and rarely escape their own system. Most of the time they would use up all the materials in their system and eventually starve any ability for their system to harbor any life. Although the planets left behind can be terraformed by another species with minimal effort in the future

Class 4: Edit

Class 4 species are very rare, but can take up large expanses of the galaxy. In total, there are about 30 class 4 species in the galaxy, including Humanity.

Class 5: Edit

There has only been 1 class 5 species to ever exist. They are simply referred to as “The Forgotten Ones”. They have since abandoned the galaxy and are believed to live in the void between galaxies, but most are unsure. Bunni (character) would likely also classify as a Class 5 Species, but since he is an individual with a large supply of AI’s, he isn’t included.
